The never ending, yes really, market. Make the wrong turn and you can spend the whole day trying to find you way back, seeing literally a million different things along the way.

6. Check out the 5 star shopping malls.

Paragon, Emporium, Central Chidlom and many more.
I’m not sure there are nicer shopping malls anywhere in the world. Glitzy, full of great stuff, both cheap and expensive. One shopping mall contains almost everything. From stalls, to stores, banks, restaurants, multiplex movie theatres, enormous aquariums and fitness gyms.

5. Check out Maboonkrong (MBK) and Siam Square.

A must go. Everyone will ask you “Did you go to MBK?”

4. Go for a sightseeing tour.

Yes, sounds cheesy, but it’s not really expensive at all and you get a day of not having to think what to do and how to get there. Bangkok can be overwhelming even for seasoned travellers.

3. Enjoy night life.

Doesn’t matter if you are a man or woman, Bangkoks night life is a very different experience.  There is literally something for everyone. British pubs, red light districts, cabaret shows, theatre, restaurants from all over the world, gay bars, hard rock, jazz, RCA. The selection is virtually endless.

Simply go out, and let the city present itself to you. Trust me, the moment you walk out of your hotel something will grab your attention.  Go with it. Feel the flow of the city. Go where it takes you, something always happens everywhere, 24/7.
