Kanchanaburi River Kwai full day & Lunch

    07.00 AM
  • Pick up tourists from various points in Khao San area.
  • Departure from Bangkok to River Kwai.
  • Visit Cemetery of the Allied Prisoners of the second world war. It contains the remains of 6,982 Australian, Dutch and British war prisoners who lost their lives during the construction of the Death Railway.
  • Visit The Jeath Museum. [ Admission fee 40 Baht extra ].
  • Visit Bridge Over The River Kwai.
  • Leaving from the train station and travelling by train [ Pay 50 Baht extra ] along the death railway to waterfall, Sai Yok Noi. The railway was built of wooden log constructed by the allied prisoners of the second world war. Most of these men were Australians, Dutch and British and they had been working steadily southwards from Thanbyuzayat (Burma) to link with other PoW on the Thai side of the railway.
    13.00 PM
  • Arrive at the waterfall.
  • Lunch at the restaurant. Thai food will be served.
  • Free for leisure after lunch.
  • Departure from waterfall back to Bangkok.
    18.30 PM
  • Arrive in Bangkok.
