Vang Vieng, Laos

Vang Vieng, 150 km from Vientienne, today is mainly a backpacker town. The main street has many bars, guest houses and restaurants.  The attraction of the area is the natural mountain scenery, caves and Hmong villages.  For leisure you can go trekking, white water rafting and kayaking.

The scenery is stunning combined with the jagged cliffs and jungle. You will enjoy walking through the scenic landscape and there are some beautiful caves to explore on the far side of the river.
